The lodge offers a barbecue. The house in general, well furnished and super clean. The garden is a great plus and it really amazed us. We picked fresh oranges every morning from the tree and our host left in the house for us a bowl of figs. A lot of peace around, you only listen to the sound of nature. A very good stay and we will choose Liza's place again in the future if needed to stay in the area.

Marcos and his family are wonderful people – always smiling, helpful, and speaking several languages including English and French. The breakfast with local specialties was delicious. The hotel has a perfect location to explore central Crete, with amazing views of the sea and olive groves – especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Very peaceful, ideal for total relaxation. Nearby there is a great taverna with breathtaking views, and also an olive oil factory with a museum where you can learn about the production process. Highly recommended!

Guests staying at this lodge have access to a patio. We got lost because the Google Maps location was totally off. Leftesis rang us and somehow managed to find us and took us to the accommodation. After a lot of stress, the Cave room was stunning. The facilities are excellent, and Leftesis was a superb host. We were a short walk 15 mins to the ferry, which was great as we had an early morning check-in for Santorini. This is a little jewel on Heraklion, and I can't recommend it highly enough. My wife loved it.
