The staff were so welcoming and helpful from moment of arrival, and served a delicious breakfast in the morning! I was working remote and the Wi-Fi was quick and super reliable, no issues on any of my zoom calls. Everything about Shanti was just perfect and I cannot wait to return.

A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. What a lovely place! Nico is one of the sweetest and welcoming hostel owners ever. Every morning there's coffee and some local sweet bread available, the place is very quiet, perfect position, there are surf board available for rent, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is clean as are the bathrooms, the dog and the cats are super cute and give the place even more of a family vibe. I really relaxed a lot and enjoyed my staying very much. The outdoor shower is the cherry on top of the cake! Totally recommended!

La Aurora Airport is 123 km from the property. Josephina was so so helpful. We communicated via google translate (!) but she booked me a shuttle to the lake and tuktuks to places I wanted to go. Macarena is paradise… beautiful beach huts perfect for a solo/close friends/couple. It is peaceful and minutes away from the beach. The beds had mozzy nets and two big fans, I slept very well!
