Staying here truly refreshed our mind. Since we did a road trip from Jakarta, we could have a great relaxation just by laying in bed doing nothing here. At night we did stargazing and I swear the stars were sparkling so exquisitely! Even my friend who stays in South Bali said that she was only seeing 1 star at the time I sent her the picture of the sky above us! Overall, you should give this place a try while staying around Menjangan.

The family takes care of everything with kindness and love, always with a smile and true generosity of spirit. The food is excellent and abundant, and it’s clear that everything is made with love - from the garden’s care to every grain of rice on the plate. There’s a private stream you can bathe in, and plenty of nearby trails to explore. The scenery is breathtaking and the area feels truly authentic.

I chose it as I wanted a break from the unrelenting heat of coastal North Bali. Oemah Tepi Sawah is up in a stunning mountain plateau with warm days and delightfully cool evenings. I had a spacious villa, which was charming and serene. Check out the different rooms as they have varying combinations of spaces and bathroom arrangements, but they are all idyllic. The hospitality was amazing. Dewi is a wonderful host and very well organised. The food was healthy, delicious, and unique. The superb cook, Anggi, made amazing dinners, especially the soups. I also had two massages from Iluh. The first one hour massage was so relaxing that I booked a second for one and a half hours. The jungle and mountain trekking made for an excellent day. Putu Nova, Kadek Komar, and Komang Deduk are engaging, knowledgeable, and helpful guides. I went trekking with other guests and we all enjoyed their company. Kadek Komar is also a driver and drove me from Lovina to Oemah Tepi Sawah and then to Sanur. I well recommend Kadek Komar as a driver. This is a beautiful place, and I plan on returning every other year. It is the perfect place to stop for a while as you drive between North and South Bali. I plan on stopping here for a few nights in both directions for my future trips to Bali from now on.

The lodge offers a spa centre. Babakan is spectacular! Everything from the view, the kindness of the hosts, to the exceptional level of cleanliness at the villa. This was my favorite place that I stayed during my three weeks traveling through Bali. The hosts work tirelessly from before sunrise to well after sundown to make the stay at this villa extraordinary. The daily cleaning of the villa and patio area was immaculate. The shower had the perfect hot water, the bedding was crisp and clean white linens, and the view was extraordinary!

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a stovetop, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. A balcony with garden views is offered in every unit. The place itself and its soul are idyllic! The interior design is exactly as shown in the pictures. This family-run farm has a personal and heartfelt touch. Grandma is the sweetest person, and we gained so much respect and gratitude for her warm hospitality. The meals they prepared were absolutely delicious and made with love. It's important to note that this countryside location is all about peace and relaxation. If you're looking for a serene getaway and a total slowdown, this is the spot. However, if you're after something busy or lively, this is not for you even though we drove to Canggu and Balian beach one day. They offer amenities like laundry services, scooter rentals and you can use freezer in the kitchen . Highly recommended!

The design of this property is really beautiful, really well though including the interior design. Definitely one of the most beautiful accommodations we stayed at while in Bali. 100% recommended!

So calming walking around the rice fields, getting glimpses of the daily life of the farmers. Cute armies of rice-ducks waddling around quacking. Staff was super nice and attentive and helped with both scooter rental and onwards transport. Even arranged early to-go breakfast packages for us, as we had ro leave super early on check-out day. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Thank you for a great stay!
