Situated on a ridge above the village, Aranka Tempasan offers wonderful views of Mount Rinjani in the background. Reached via a macadam path, it feels like you've entered another world when you arrive. There are also various activities on offer with a local guide. We visited an authentic local village and took a trip into the nearby jungle to see the waterfalls. We also took a painting course. The owner, Berry, is very warm-hearted and has a great sense of how to run the business. Together with the very kind staff, he runs the business as a community. Needless to say, the food is delicious, too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in nature and experience the local way of life.

Our Host brought us on a 4 hour unforgettable hike on small, hidden tracks,,traversing ricepaddys and rainforest, home to endiguas black monkeys, finishing with a cool bath below the waterfall. Breakfest delicuas and healhy, local specialitys provided for lunch!

Jull is such a kind person. He organized everything, including the Rinjani rim hike, which was an amazing experience.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The rooms are big and clean with 2x2m beds. We were sleeping 2 adults and 1 5 years-old kid. The hotel is very quiet with a nice pool practically for you as there are only 6 rooms. The kitchen serves excellent quality food all the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner. We tasted 80% of the plates and they were delicious!! Better than going to Kuta. It's near Kuta but you will need a transport. The are no Grab cars in the area but there's a private driver living near the hotel called Han, really recommended!! Just ask for him in the reception.

The location was of exceptional beauty. The cottages were amazing, with all that is needed inside, a good bed, a good bathroom, a little terrace where to sit and contemplate the views. They have restaurant service that will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner...everything homemade and delicious. But the best of it all was the staff, always eager to help. You can see this is a family-run business that has started with some many ilusions, but people that want to make the best out of it.

Very amazing place, only 4 minutes walking to go to the beautiful beach, enjoy the beautiful beach with beautiful sunset, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and the beauty of the environment surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. This place is the most authentic place we have been with the most genuine people we met. We learned about their local culture and way of living and felt part of their community during these two days: joining them for an UNO game, English class and tour. Leaving was hard because Hari and his friends made us feel super welcomed.
