My mom and I stayed for two nights, as we wanted to explore the south beach area of the island and visit different beaches. The place felt more like a personal home than a hotel, with a marvelous location right in front of the beach, a beautiful swimming pool, and a welcoming reception area. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing excellent service and even surprising us with complimentary treats like mocktails and delicious ice cream while we relaxed by the pool. It truly felt like a peaceful oasis. The breakfast was spectacular possibly the best we had during our entire 10-day trip in Sri Lanka with a wide variety of options to choose from. The room was always immaculate and spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and all the amenities needed to meet every requirement. It genuinely felt like being in our own vacation home. We will definitely return if we visit Sri Lanka again and I highly recommend this accommodation .

The lovely host Karina is very accommodating and can organise anything for you from transportation to tours. The river freshwater pool is very refreshing after a hike or trek in the forest.

Situated 2.1 km from Midigama Beach, Unrushed Midigama features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Wonderful place close to the beach, but still quiet and secluded. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

The lodge offers a terrace. Amazing value for money, everything is new from your room to furniture to kitchen utensils, owner is very respectful and easy to communicate, attentive and trying to get what you need. Located in a strategic area right between busy Ahangama and Midigama, right in front of the beach. I initially booked 2 nights and booked extra three nights, I’m definitely coming back! Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Owner is super nice. Place is about 20 mins walk to the center through the jungle but you won’t get an amazing view anywhere else. The place is literally surrounded by paddies and you can see the train from the balcony. Bed is very comfortable and room is huge. If you’re not down for a small walk, the owner can arrange a scooter for you for cheap price. Highly recommend.
