The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.

Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

You cannot beat the views, and waking up to the beautiful jungle and forest right from your bedroom, or the dreamy fireflies at night from the balcony. Their home kitchen menu is superb, made fresh to order, and super tasty. We had delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all tasty and satisfying. The owners also connected us with a great hiking guide in the Sinharaja forest who pointed out rare species, took us to waterfalls, and even prepped us so we would not get leeches on our shoes. This location is absolutely the best and we would come back again! 100% recommend to anyone considering visiting the Sinharaja forest. They are family owned, and extremely kind people.

Room was small but perfect for us. Toilet was clean, owner was nice. He helped for our moped rental for our whole stay and also made sure we were comfortable all the time. It was nice to be checked on. House was also quite literally a <1 minute walk to the beach. It was also a very quiet beach with a restaurant right in front. Would stay here again when I come back.
