Great homestay and staff The food was the best of the trip and the safari amazing!

Stay at Thisal. NoGuest House was very nice, the hospitality was great. But the best thing to do is go on a safari with them. Very good. It is possible to eat dinner and breakfast prepared by the hosts. Thank you very much.

I had a great stay at Thisal Guest House! It's owned by a very friendly family. I did the safari tour that the guest house offers and it was truly amazing, I totally recommend it! The food at the guest house is also very tasty! The location is perfect, it's close where the bus drops you off and the entrance of the ancient city.

The location to the national park was good and an easy drive to start your safari.

The host and his mother were very nice and helpful. We have great dinner-home made. The host can provide you a safari so it is going to be great if you take the chance.

Great place to stay for a few days in Polonnaruwa, especially thanks to the very friendly and welcoming owners. The room is simple, but it has all you need, the food was absolutely delicious (both dinner and breakfast) and the owners even arranged a bike rental (the house is very close to all the major sights in Polonnaruwa) and a ride to safari park for us for very reasonable prices.

Nature friendly awesome stay in Sri Lanka, Food was Very tasty, large breakfast. View of rice fields is very calm, mind relaxing. Staf & host is very friendly, understandable. They were organize superb wild safari, Cycling Tour & Cookery demonstration for us. Room was very comfortable with rice field view & private balcony, great Value for money, all prices are very reasonable, Very special thing is they can arrange whatever we need to do in Sri Lanka, Highly Recommend for everyone.

Superb stay, best place to stay in polonnaruwa, new rooms with balcony in perfect condition, food was very tasty. Paddy field view is mind relaxing and very calm, Rivonway is hidden gem, they were arrange everything whatever we want specially wild safari. At the morning birds & peacocks are singing arround the hotel. Very nature friendly hotel specially for tourists, small canels are going front of the property. The host is very understandable and speaking very good english. we can highly recommend for all.

Everything was amazing, honestly, the hotel is very nice, with a great pool, a nice restaurant and a wonderful host family. We took an elephant safari organized by the host, and it was great, we saw lots of elephants. It was really nice.

The family is awesome and so kind. We also had our most tasty rice and curry cooked by the mother. If you want to see elephants, they have their own jeep for safari tour (fair price and possibility to get to remote area). Due to an emergency, they helped me to find a ride to Colombo in 30min and took care of my friend during her stay. Thank you again for everything ❤️
