The owner and host, THISARA is very attentive, helpful and an absolute professional. We wish him great success. +4. The husband wife duo staff members NISHANI & ISHAN were absolutely fantastic. They make your stay smooth. JAYALATH, the 3rd staff member, was so helpful and did a great job organising the BBQ dinner. +5. A BBQ dinner along with local food items from the menu is a must. Don't miss that. Make sure to do that. You will love it. A great experience, especially for families with children. +6. They organised our Yala jungle safari with a very good driver who spoke English, and did everything he can to make our jungle safari memorable. A big thank you to him. +7. Overall, this is a really good small adventure hotel that is well run by THISARA. Situlpawwa is 15 km from the lodge, while Tissa Wewa is 19 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 35 km away. Where do I start? Staying at the Wadula in an exoerience, not just a stay at a hotel! The accommodation is situated in the middle of nature. This is why you're escorted by one of the brothers that own the hotel from the main road because otherwise you'd probably get lost. Think nature, think a jungle-like experience! If you're a nature lover such as myself you will love this place! The owners, Dulaj and Chamith, are the best hosts you could possibly imagine. Welcoming, all smiles, and extremely helpful. They can arrange a host of things such as transportation, packed lunches and, of course safaris in neighbouring (literally 50 metres away) Yala National Park. The safari, arranged by the brothers, comes highly recommended! We did the full day safari. Very good packed breakfast, yummy lunch and to top it all off we saw elephants and yes, the ever elusive panther! Go for it! Ask Dulaj or Chamith to arrange the safari for you! They know the best guides! As for the accommodation: you will stay in your own private beautiful bungalow. It has all the amenities such as flatscreen TV, WiFi, aircon, coffee /tea, and in the bathroom apart from shampoo, even conditioner, toothpaste etc etc. Wonderful! Each balcony has a veranda with a gorgeous view over the lake. A perfect place to relax in the evenings! If you love nature and if you love a quiet peaceful place, look no further and book the Wadula!

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. Tranquil wild lived up to its name. It is right next to a lake with water buffalo in it. There are heaps of birds including peacocks and hornbills in the garden plus lots of monkeys, squirrels and lizards around. The garden is huge with mature trees and plenty of space. You can walk beside the lake and do a little exploring, really nice at sun rise or sunset. The swimming pool was excellent for a bit of relaxing. Anne and Amal were fantastic hosts answering all our questions and organizing our safari and other activities. I recommend having Amal on your safari. He is full of info and has a big camera lens to get those close ups the cellphones can't do. Their safaris go into block 5 and 6 which are a lot quieter ( in terms of jeep numbers) than the main Yala block 1. We saw elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds, and 2 leopards. Also if you have the chance to have dinner and bonfire down by the lake shore then do it, we got lucky with a stunning night and full moon rising. The food, including breakfast was really good. If you are looking for somewhere to relax with nature then this is it.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. Great place for a big family or group traveling together. Located close to yala national park so very convenient for going on safari. We booked a safari trip through Tree Tops, and had a great Safari with a very experienced guided. The house is clean and spacious. The staff provided us with delicious food.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. This has been my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. The lodges are beautifully designed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable. Praveen was extremely welcoming and helpful to us during the stay. We organised the Yala National Park Safari through the hotel in advance of our visit and it was 90USD per person (the hotel also arranged a naturist to join us on the safari and I really would recommend doing so as it gave great insight to the animals we encountered). The food was excellent. The staff were extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and were able to provide a vegan dinner. They prepared a vegetable kottu, coconut curry and dhal and it was soooo delicious. My partner also got grilled chicken and said it was the nicest meal of the trip! Could not recommend Koragaha Lodge more.

Situated in Kirinda, close to Nidangala Beach, Garnet Yala Beach features accommodation with garden, bike hire, a private beach area, a terrace and a restaurant. Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, fishing and cycling. The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

The lodge offers a terrace. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Couldn’t speak strong English but always went above and beyond to make my partner and I feel welcome and comfortable. Sad to leave this place

The owners, together with his wife, are extremely kind, caring, and attentive. They made us feel so welcome and treated us with the utmost respect and hospitality. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very close to nature – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Everything was well organized, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I highly recommend Yala Village Eco Tree House to anyone who wishes to have an unforgettable and relaxing experience in a natural and friendly environment. We are truly grateful for the warm hospitality and can’t wait to visit again!
