    The SM lodge was spacious and comfortable. It was basically a huge room with a bathroom attached. It had a great communal balcony in front of the room and delicious street food directly opposite. Beds really comfortable and it was very clean.

    We had a chance to visit several 5 star beach hotels in Mauritius and this one has by far the most beautiful beach with powder white send), very comfortable, classically decorated oceanfront room with stone tile bathroom, elegant lobby in neocolonial style, large spa area, excellent reception, concierge and spa service. I would recommend it for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on a lodging with a flashy name but rather put a focus on the experience. Excellent value for money.

    We loved the tree house and the pool as well as the friendly owners and staff who served us breakfast. It was a unique experience that was done with style. There were interesting places to visit but we looked forward to returning to the tranquility of the tree lodge set in lovely gardens.
