Activities from here were very well organised. We made a day trip to Vic Falls (make sure you have an evisa for Zimbabwe which makes the time at the border less complicated).

The Ndhovu Safari Lodge serves breakfast and dinner which can be taken in the restaurant. Packed lunches are available on request. The lodge also has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, and laundry facilities. This was one of our favourite stays of our holiday. Amazing place. Although described as a tent you didn't think you were in a tent - it was a lovely room with great views of the river and a very comfy bed. Did a fantastic sundown cruise and saw lots of hippos - very knowledgeable guide. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. A perfect stay.

Providing river views, Zambezi Mubala Lodge in Katima Mulilo provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This was a PHENOMENAL experience!! The property is located on the banks of the Zambezi River in a spectacular and remote location. We had to get to the property by 30-minute boat ride down an incredibly beautiful segment of the river. The property is eco-oriented and the chalets are all river facing and beautifully anointed. The staff are wonderful and the food was fabulous. The sundowner was very much worthwhile. This is a place for birders and for those who are interested in seeing the Carmine bee eaters (but on ly for a very short window).

Chobe Water Villas is an exclusive boutique lodge located at the eastern tip of the Zambezi region. Privately situated within the 150km² Kasika Conservancy, the lodge sits directly on the banks of the Chobe River, offering unobstructed views of the renowned Chobe National Park and Sedudu Island, opposite Kasane, Botswana. We spent 2 wonderful days at Water Villas, liked everything, the delicious food, the extremely friendly staff, especially Kelvin, the captain on the boat, Joy, the lady, who explained us what we should order for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Josephine, who were with us on our two boat tours and always had a smile in her face. We were the only guests, felt like kings in France in this wonderful calm and peaceful landscape on the Namibian side of Chobe river and enjoyed really each second. Sorry, Joel, somedays we will come back ….

Guests at Divava Okavango Lodge can go on boat safaris, or visit the Mahango Game Reserve, which is 10 minutes’ drive away. Great food. Excellent location on the river with glorious sunsets. Viewing hippos and crocs!

A barbecue is available for guests to use at Kazondwe Camp and Lodge. Very nice family run lodge in a impressive natural environment. Very friendly an highly competent staff. Excellent food at the restaurant. Perfect base for excursions in the surrounding national parks.

Shametu River Lodge also includes an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Every member of staff was incredibly welcoming. The service was excellent and the location is amazing. Our room with a private deck over the river was sensational! Bucket list location.
