They have small gift shop, supporting locals! I left with 2 books. The place is the definition of tranquility. The rain and clouds in the back make this the place to be! The guider tour and snacks was the creme on top of our stay in Namibia.

Each room features a private terrace and is equipped with tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom has a shower. We stayed for one night. The lodge has a really nice atmosphere. Great and clean swimmingpool. Dinner and breakfast facing a waterhole with animals. Staff is very friendly and correct. Beds were super comfortable and long enough for tall people. All in all one of our best stays in Namibia.

Super authentic location with extremely friendly stuff and great food! If I ever again in Namibia - that’s the place where I would stay :)

My daughter fell in love with this venue so we came back to celebrate her birthday here last weekend, the staff are amazing, they blew up all my balloons and set up decorations. We really love this place and will come back for new years!

Daan Viljoen Game Lodge offers a children's playground and a barbecue. This is a beautiful property outside of Windhoek and a great place to stay if being in the city doesn’t capture your interest. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are wonderful, and the chalets are really beautiful, with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, a spacious shower, and a cool vibe. There are two hikes you can do affording you the chance to see some animals if you are lucky - I saw some giraffe and a herd of wildebeest. Animals can be found on the property too, particularly at night.
