We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

Absolutely beautiful farm with large garden. Very easy to reach (right off the N2). Great game drives and very friendly staff.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything. Everything was great. The room was spacious. We had one of the most incredible views you'll see overlooking the river - a few animals also could be seen late afternoon visiting the river. The staff were incredible and very accommodating - excellent service. We also took a sunset game drive that was incredible and informative - we saw zebra, bontebok, buffaloes, monkeys, giraffes and plenty warthog, among other animals. The whole experience and place was even better than we thought. Super quiet. Super refreshing.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. Chrihandra has suffered damage from the strong winds and relocated me to a partner property. They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!

We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.
