Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. I booked this for my parents on their way back home after a medical procedure in Cape Town. My mother absolutely loved it. The owner was so kind and helpful, upgraded their room, which was fully kitted out with everything. The bed was comfortable and the balcony had super views.

Breakfast was outstanding as was dinner. Willem was an exceptional host Loved seeing all the game.... they interrupted our dinner which was delightful but it landed up being a bit drawn out after a long days travel.

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range. The lodge and estate are just beautiful. It was our second visit - may become an annual event! We stayed in a deluxe suite in the Manor House and it was just lovely - very spacious and the views from the balcony were stunning. The food was delicious, especially the steak! Bar service from Passmore and his team was impeccable. The nature drive with Daniel was informative and laidback with a lovely drink stop along the way. The zebra and various book grazing near by the pool at dinner was just magical.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious with aircon. Lush gardens and a very nice pool area. Centrally located. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Surval Boutique Olive Estate offers elegant accommodation near Oudtshoorn. A beautiful spot overlooking the mountains. Wonderful staff, delicious food. We picked the accommodation as we are parkrun fanatics and it didn't disappoint. A memorable and happy experience.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. My one reservation about Sanbona is that they need to make it clear that if you expect to see lots of animals you are at the wrong reserve. Few animals and long drives and not being allowed off the track means few sightings

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
