The property felt like being at camp back home in Canada. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with cooking supplies. We utilized the Brai twice which was great because restaurants were limited in the area. The walking trails through out the property was wonderful for evening walks. Zur Alten Mine is nicely located to check out the panorama route and other activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious with great homemade baking and jams. The host was also friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and driving routes to take. Very well ran business.

The lodge really exceeded all our expectations! We had a great stay. It has breathtaking views from executive room. The rooms have excellent design, comfortable and clean. The hosts are nice. This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

I loved that the place was inside a beautiful gated wildlife preserve. I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

Everything was beyond expectactions. Everyone were so polite, nice and tried to make our stay unforgetable. The game drives were really something, you experience only once in life. Special thanks to Sean, who drove us through fantastic locations and answered all of our quetions about. We saw 4 of bug five animals on one ride and saw many others. We did not see the leopards but seeing four black rhinos together was more rarely experience, and Sean told us he never in his life saw anything like that. The food was also amazing, they know exactly what they are doing. Thanks again. Stay here you won’t regret.

You will stay in a beautifully designed intimate lodge that is spotless and clean, with hosts that are true masters of hospitality. Every detail is considered with care, everything you need will be handled. For the price they far exceeded our expectations. You will receive 5+ star service, incredible food, and (if you wish) great conversation. We will personally tell anyone we know coming to the area to stay here. We travel a lot and have had a lot of experiences with luxury accommodation but honestly nothing beats African Flair! This is our favorite place in the world! The place is stunning, incredibly tastefully decorated, the space that you have to yourself and the privacy of the place is amazing. The bedroom is incredible, the bathroom is out of this world, the pool is wonderful, the attention to details is incredible. The design of the place is stunning! The location of the place is within a Wildlife Estate, so you can see some animals roaming around as you drive or… take an outdoor shower! But what sets this place apart from everywhere else is the Host and her passion for making your stay a wonderful experience. Nothing is too much trouble, she is incredibly kind and nice and devoted to make your stay unforgettable! We are surely coming back soon again and this time we plan to stay much longer!
