Silent and dark room, good view, very comfortable bed, good space for work and relax

Upon arrival to the hotel, as we were not Chinese speaking customers and it was super busy for checking in, they made us to a separate desk for easy hotel check in. They upgraded our room to Sapphire King Deluxe which had the view of the waterfall from the bed. The hotel also had dyson hair dryers, which shows the level of luxury they are offering. The hotel does not advertise many activities it offers. We had the opportunity to visit the hotel during the Chinese New Year, so we got to experience the Fireworks which was held in the hotel vicinity. It also seemed the hotel provides a Cliff Light Show every evening around 8:30 Pm which no one should miss. The hotel also provides free 3 Photos which you can take with a professional photographer. There was also a clown who made cute toys with balloons for kids (not sure if it was available for the Chinese New Year only). The hotel also provides a good swimming pool area and the staffs were extremely cordial. Last but not the least, we had the wonderful opportunity to interact with one of the hotel staff named Alisa Yang. As it was the Chinese New Year, the hotel did not offer Late Night Room Service from the restaurant. As we were hungry and missed our dinner time, she went above and beyond to help us order food from Chinese delivery app. Unfortunately, the drivers were also not available for delivery so we could not get our food delivered. Then she made sure to send us chips, eggs, and milk so that we do not go to bed hungry. I have never experienced this level of dedication from any hotel staff in my entire life. Just solely her dedication and enthusiasm to help us made our whole trip worth it.

The location of the hotel is in a very prominent area if you are looking to visit the Guangfulin area. The hotel has a private access to the Guangfulin Relics Park. Also, the hotel has a nice area for outdoor activities, as well as kids play area which my child really enjoyed. The hotel staffs were really cordial and had english speaking staff. You can easily take a small trip of one or two day if you are visiting Shanghai to get more authentic Chinese heritage feel by visiting the Guangfulin Relics.

Very nice hotel, rooms are big and bed comfortable. Swimming pool area nice
