Dive shop: 2nd time... because this is the best dive shop I ever dove with !!(I have around 150 dives). Super organised, super friendly, super equipment. Thank you Elise, Serena, Andrea and Luther and of course the rest of the team. The Naboo dive center is the reason why we came back! Hotel: very clean and fancy. Huge and modern rooms with a nice balcony. The view is not the best but the rest of the hotel is so awesome that you won't regret! Very nice pool area. And thanks to the cleaning team they are doing a great job! Very nice owners as well. The staff is lovely very friendly and caring. Very short walk to the lovely beach. Restaurant: The food is awesome! And the prices are moderate. The only thing is that they have only one vegetarian main dish and the choice of appetizers could be bigger for lunch. If there would be more vegetarian dishes we would have eaten there more often. Overall: 100% recommendation. Book it. It is great. We will be back for sure.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The culinary experience at Restaurant Alera was nothing short of exceptional. The food was top-notch, offering a delightful array of flavors and dishes that were both innovative and delicious. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel and restaurant in Honduras. What truly amazed me was the unique identity on which the hotel was built. The resort beautifully incorporates the rich heritage of the Pech people, creating an immersive and culturally enriching environment. This thoughtful integration of local culture not only enhances the overall experience but also pays a respectful tribute to the Pech heritage. The location was great, the room was big. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The staff were wonderful. The restaurant was absolutely delicious to eat at. The housekeeping was done everyday and done well.

Beautiful property. Our unit was a 1 bedroom with a large deck overlooking the pool. The on suite bathroom was the size of a bedroom. A bit of a walk to West Bay but we found a shortcut to help eliminate some of the hill. The beach is very private, but swimming out to the reef for snorkelling is difficult as the water gets rough and the there is not much clearance from the reef. We just stayed closer to shore.

    On top of the hill, away from the bars, restaurants and cruisers sits the Meridian at lighthouse point. This is not a hotel, which is what I thought I was booking, but a luxury condo complex. There are two pools, one restaurant/bar, snorkeling right off the beach (not good for newbies or kids) and a wonderful staff.
