We had an amazing two night stay here at the end of our time in Sri Lanka. The food was incredible, especially the fish salad:). They hooked us up with a tuktuk driver to get us to Sigiriya Rock in the morning, then a Naturalist for an afternoon park tour to see elephants. The safari tour was incredible value and we saw lots and lots of elephants. We enjoyed a morning at the spa as our treat to ourselves before heading off to Kandy then the airport. It also was amazing and we walked out of there feeling like jello. The facilities are brand new, gorgeous, clean and well thought out. The location overlooking the lake in the private mango grove is very peaceful. The staff are helpful and laid back. I knew coming to Sri Lanka that there is a different dynamic vs Canada when it comes to women, and I certainly didn’t come with any intention of imposing my Canadian values here. However, being at this women managed and staffed hotel was a nice change during the trip where I felt like I could speak up and answer questions ahead of my partner without them looking to him for confirmation. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.

Hi my wife and I stayed here on our first 2 nights arriving in Sri Lanka. We are both from the UK and currently living in Dubai where the standard is set very very high. Well I have to say we were so so impressed with this hotel. It all comes down to the exceptional service from the manager Ronson and his team. We were greeted with open arms on arrival. Anything we needed was there for us. Personal service. Felt like part of the family throughout our stay. Nice touches throughout. 10/10 experience. Prepared a special breakfast for us in the treehouse on our last day without asking. I mentioned I wanted to go to the gym in the morning at 5am. Ronson ensured the lights and fan was on ready for me in the morning and they even left a fresh bottle of water for me for my training. I can't rate the service high enough. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. Food was good! Compliments to the chef. Wow views of the lion rock and very close. In nature. Everything we needed for our first few nights in Sri Lanka. Being a big fitness buff, the only thing I would slightly improve on would be the gym facilities. But this would be me being very picky. More choice of dumbbell weights - maybe 10kg, 15kg, 20kg, 25kg and 30kg to allow me to keep my training on point. There was a bench and dumbbell weights in the gym so still could train so don't let this put you off. But this again, is me being super picky.

It’s a great place to stay. It was such a lovely experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature and Lion Rock. This place is very well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner with some delicious tea and sweets. Staff was extremely friendly. The home cooked food, dinner and breakfast was delicious and nicely prepared. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Anil has been a fantastic host. He's very welcoming, funny, helpful and generous. He drove us to all places and cooked us with his wife delicious dinners at unbeatable prices. The breakfasts were also amazing. His place is nice and quiet, well located and the swimming is a great addition. Definitely recommended for a great experience in Sigiriya
