FranceExcellent choice, Rooms are not in front of the road as some other Methven's Motel have, but is a little in the background which means very quiet place. VERY Large, confortable room with absolutely everything you need. A kitchen with a door therefore no odor if you cook ;-), everything for cooking. A very large bathroom with a separate big shower very good. Also absolutely no noise from the rooms next. Good welcoming. Very good wifi.

Wi fi was extremely poor, literally no signal, the rooms are pretty outdated, but it's the problem of many motels in NZ. Location wise is pretty good close to major pubs and the hot pools.
