Very friendly, personal and comfortable with everything you need. Close to the Marine Wildlife Center, but a bit far away (to far to walk, especially when it is raining) from the cruise terminal and for the starting point of Kenai Fjord Tours. If you have a car, the perfect place to be. :-) I can highly recommend Trailhead Lodging- Seward.

The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.

Acceptable place to stay if the goal is simply to save money and have somewhere to sleep at night. Like many motels, room was dingy and in need of minor repairs, and you may have spiders as roommates. Location is great and at no time did we feel unsafe. Staff were very friendly and the coffee/tea in the office provided a quick boost to start the morning.

Location is great, near the train depot. Coffee available. It is an older motel but kept up. Doing some updating.

Location is one of the greatest advantage of this motel. If you take the boat tour to Kenai Fjords you can leave the car at the motel, and reach the boarding point in 2 mins walk. There is a gas station on the corner as well which is convenience when you planning a trip. The second is the personnel who is supportive, attentive and acts as a family.

Big & spacious room. Biggest room in our 2 week trip. Much better than a motel. Power outlets near bed & other parts of room. Check in quick & fuss free. Great location: kenai fjord cruise across the road, great restaurants to eat seafood, big safeway supermart 0.6miles north.

Close to shops restaurants and cruises. We had a room that overlooked the mountains and it was in the newer part of the motel. This is the only reason it was okay because the older part was run down, had outside corridors, overlooking an alley. No breakfast or coffee but it was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Everything In Alaska is overpriced. Lol. Just expect it.
