I think this was the 5th time we've stayed, and we'll definitely be back again next year. We got the breakfast for the first time this year, and it was great! Perfect for feeding us.

The owners were really interested in their guests, friendly and approachable for any discussion or questions. The location and facilities met our expectations, such that everything was provided to allow us to self cater. Centrally located with the shops and supermarket all within an easy walk. I would recommend people visiting the Takaka area to stay at this motel.

The Nelson City Centre is a 15-minute drive away, and free parking is provided on site. The room was very clean and comfortable. Although we were on a busy road, we didn’t hear traffic noise. The pool looked inviting though we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The motel backed up to a soccer field and the great taste trail which gave us a lovely morning walk. The manager provided us with fresh milk for our coffee in the morning.
