If you are looking to stay in a real Japanese style bed-and-breakfast at a good price, look no further than Asumi Onsen! The room is spacious for two people and clean. The breakfast is good, served to you in a tatami lounge. The host and hostess is an elderly couple, who are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They we’re kind to our every request, let us rent bikes for free, and even took drove us to Shimoyoshida station at the end of our stay. Finally, you will enjoy soaking in the in-house Onsen at the end of the day!

Perfect location between Kawaguchiko and Fujiyoshida with great transport links. The hotel was lovely, great facilities and amenities in the room such as pyjamas, refreshing spray for your clothes and charging cables. The staff were so sweet and helpful and there was great variety in the breakfast buffet. The onsen was also great and pretty quiet whenever I used it. I contacted the staff in advance and they booked a taxi for my husband to a local golf course, and they also arranged luggage forwarding for us. Great views of Mount Fuji at breakfast too!

I really loved the free bicycle rental service — riding around the area while seeing Mount Fuji was such a memorable experience! The hotel is on a hill overlooking the kawaguchiko Lake. It does not have a direct view of Mt. Fuji, but there is a short hike you can take to see the peak. The place is also right next to the cable car gate. Making it very convenient for travelers. The hotel offers free pick up and drop to the bus station to all guests. We loved the public and private baths they have. Plus, the complimentary tea and snack from 3-5pm and dinner from 5-7pm was very nice. Our room was 413, which is a massive Japanese style space overlooking the lake.

Great location on this side of Kawaguchiko Lake. Very nice traditional Japanese hotel. It's amazing experience for tourists. The hotel offers shuttle service between the hotel and train station. I paid extra room charge for dinner it's Kaiseki cuisine (I guess?) and it's awesome I would suggest everybody to try it. The hotel also provides amazing traditional Japanese breakfast, delicious food and full set of service. The staffs are very nice and friendly they try their best to help you. THis hotel is one of my best memory of my trip.
