All staffs are very kind and they provided high quality of services. Onsen was great and also Kaiseki dinner was awesome and delicious. Stay at Okuno Hosomichi was an unforgettable time for us. At the room there were various snacks, fruits and drinks. Thank you and we will stay again when we visit Arima Onsen once again.

The facilities are very perfect. Ie. shuttle bus from/to hotel to train station and ropeway, varieties of gold and silver onsens in one place are stunning we didn’t have to go other onsens to try both of them. Dinner and breakfast are excellence. Staffs at front and dining room are very professional and great service mind.

Love the onsens. We managed to try 3 out of the 8 onsen during our one night trip. There were free flowing apple juice, coffee and hot choclate at the lobby. You can also asks staff to drive you to certain areas. Super convenient.

Food was amazing. Service was amazing. We felt well taken care of. Love the private hot springs bath and using the owl indicator to know which bath was open. We also visited the sister inn's outdoor hot springs which had a small divider between men's and women's. I was able to speak with my spouse while there. The grounds there were beautiful. Saw stray or outdoor cats outside as well. Super cute.

As I was from Kobe, Arima Onsen had always been a familiar place. We chose Tosen Goshobo, upgraded for very special occasion (anniversary + birthday). And thankful our stay went far over than what we had expected. Hotel offered an anniversary surprise for us, which we appreciated a lot. We loved the architecture -- its room (fabulous! We didn't want to leave), its Japanese garden, its salon (and the choice of library), wine cellar. We found the semi-outdoor hot springs was playful and was really a good idea. The quality and the quantity of food was just excellent, diner or breakfast. We had feeling that also the timing between a dish to another was well calculated. We are so grateful to staff, friendly, caring, who made our stay so memorable.

Traditional ryokan with small onsen as part of the hotel. They are private onsen, so you can go there as a couple / family. Definitely recommend to book the dinner even if it seems bit expensive. It is worth it! Best experience we had in Japan.

The shared onsen and bath is beautiful (much nicer than the private onsen). The view over the trees and the windows that slide open were superb, and made our stay because we could enjoy the rain from inside the room. It was good to experience a Ryokan and traditional Kaiseki dinner in our room. Arima Onsen is a lovely village to walk through and try the different foods. The foot bath in the main street was a highlight, even though it was almost too hot at 42 degrees!

Gorgeous ryokan with good onsens. It was my first traditional Japanese hotel and onsen, so I was very impressed by hospitality, kaiseki dinner, the view, the room with tatami, yukata and hot springs. Totally recommend it!
