Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu

We stayed there 2 nights and it was different both mornings. A special highlight was being able to enjoy the onsen without any issues despite having tattoos that I can't cover.
