I like everything about it! The room was clean, enough space for to put my bags, the staff were nice, the onsen was good (the temperature is a bit lukewarm though), the food was good as well. I love everything about it.

Very beautiful hotel with nice private onsen! We never had to wait long to enter the private onsen. There were some delicious snacks for hotel guests. In the hotel, there was a very relaxing atmosphere. We liked that there was even a manga room for guests to enjoy reading

It was a great experience I wanted to stay at the hotel for more than one day but Osaka was calling for me I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in hakone the staff were very nice and welcoming and they spaek english better than the people in Tokyo.

If you want a genuine Japanese experience this is the place. The Onsen is amazing and your room is a fairly authentic Japanese room with a dining area and floor beds. The beds are good but you are sleeping on the floor so don't expect a nice mattress. We got food in from the local convenience store and ate in the dining area. The breakfast is a Japanese breakfast and the staff will explain what it is and how to eat it. A lot of fish (so don't expect cereal and bacon butty). Worth a night's stay.

The food is amazing here. And the baths in the room are an experience in itself. Amazing location, really convenient. I would come back here again and again.

Good location & quiet room & sanitation. And morning&dinner restaurant were also good. Although I'm not fluent in Japanese, they help us so kindly. 　I am first at Hakone. I'm really falling for Hakone's peaceful atmosphere. Thanks to them, (One of them name is 'Liang' maybe, and her colleague; I heard from other colleague, next day). I was able to see Mt. Huji. , and it was memorable. It's all thanks to them. Routes, Bus-location, Bus-timetable, all of them can not be made without your helps. May all your futures be shiny. 🥰🥰
