From the moment we walked in we felt at home. We got hopelessly lost, a 3.5 hour journey took us 7.5 hours (don't trust google maps!!). But when we got close (with 2% left on my phone so couldn't call) a lovely man called for us and we were met. If you want exciting night life, this is not the place for you. If, like us, you want to relax, really kick back and enjoy being surrounded by mountains, and appreciate the amazing hospitality of Albanian people, then you will love it here. The local history is also fascinating. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. 💖

A truly unforgettable stay! My husband and I had an amazing time during our stay. We enjoyed absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by endless greenery and right next to a historic site. The food, prepared by Gero, was absolutely delicious from traditional local dishes to his authentic pizzas, everything was full of flavor and made with care. But what truly made our experience special was the incredible team. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we definitely made new friends. A special mention goes to Agush ,unbelievably funny, full of energy, and truly the heart and soul of the hotel. He will forever have a special place in our hearts. We’ll definitely be back soon!

A very quiet, spacious, clean apartment with good facilities in a fantastic location with an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Very close to Gjirokastër and a short drive to the supermarket, lots of hiking and sights in the local area. Not forgetting the friendly cat of course. It is so enjoyable to enjoy the picture-like scenery of Gjirokaster on the beautiful large terrace! Although the location is not in the city center, the road is very easy for a self-driving car. The beautiful villa is spotlessly clean! If you live in the center of the old city, it is a test for the driver's skills!

Location was excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful. They took the time to suggest driving directions to the hotel as there was a lot of unexpected rainfall. Breakfast was great and was very much set up for the day.
