If you are looking for an example of "how it should be" then this is THE place to go !!! What an amazing experience to have the host (Hermann) meeting you right at your arrival and helping you out with your luggage. We stayed in many hotels worldwide and sadly enough most of the time it turns out to be a key box and you came and go... NOT here !! Furthermore everything one can hope for in an apartment and parking place in front !

The owners were so hands-on, the result is a superbly run pension hotel. A bonus for us was that they have a full a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, perhaps one of the best we have ever had. We were lucky to have a view facing window and balcony. We would absolutely love to stay there again.

Very polite and friendly host , we informed the host that we would be arriving late, and he literally left us the key on the appointment door and sent us a picture. Wonderful breakfast, clean, comfortable and modern apartment room specious enough for two adults and 3 children. Love Heiligenblut and highly recommend Pension Bergkristall.

    Beautiful views off the balcony of the town/church and mountains. Included breakfast was wonderful and there was plenty of parking available in their parking lot. We didn't use the sauna but it was available for use. It was the perfect place to stay after driving the Grossglockner scenic road!

    Very friendly and courteous couple running this hotel - nothing too much trouble. Room clean and functional - picture postcard looking hotel with views to match.
