Hettlerhof sits above the town of Zell am See and when the weather was clear we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was not overly large but comfortable with everything you would need. Very comfortable bed and the radiator heating felt so good on the cool nights we had in early May. Bathroom was large, modern and well equipped. Our balcony overlooked the front yard play area & the snowy mountains. Breakfast was very good with a lot of different choices. I believe there is a sauna but we didn't use it. There is a lot to do and see in the area and we enjoyed our stay at Hettlerhof.

The accommodation was absolutely perfect. Peter (owner) of the hotel very nice, helpful, helpful. As a big group of 14 guys we could sometimes be a bit louder, but Peter solved everything perfectly. We even had our own room for evening sitting. The hotel is very clean, perfect welness, beautiful outdoor pool, good breakfast. Ideal place for all three ski resorts. I highly recommend it for families with children as well as groups of young people.

We stayed in apartment number 405. Thats a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. 1 is a master bedroom. It has 2 balconies with mainly a mountain view and partially a river view. 1 balcony is at the living room, the other is shared between the bedrooms. The apartment was newly built, very clean, with almost all facilities in the apartment but the washing machine, which was in a washing room together with a tumble dryer, both can be used free of charge. Viehhofen is a small village, i couldn't find any supermarket there but with a car you can reach Zell am see or Saalfelden in 10 minutes where you can find all shops and restaurants. The location was great, within 30 minutes drive you can reach many of the sightseeings and activities in the region.

This was one of the coolest hotel experiences. Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations: the kids' facilities are amazing - so many options. The choice of food was excellent and very creative and tasty; the little details such as an option to make your own fresh juice from tons of ingredients, or the sushi buffet, ramen buffet, etc. The pool area is very nice, with a warm pool - and it was completely empty in the evenings. The rooms were perfect and so was cleanliness. Everything is thoughtful for children in the first place - we are definitely coming back to visit Tante Frida.

    We made a last minute decision to stay at the hotel and we’re very glad we did. Parking was really easy and we were upgraded to a junior suite. The rib-eye steaks were the best we’ve tasted and the staff were very friendly.

    Location is favourable - go 1km south - You will reach a lake. Road to Saalbach is nearby. Village itself very silent. Convenient parking, 50m from house. Apartment has a sleeping room, a dayroom, very small kitchen and toilet combined with a bath in one room, a balcon is large enough. If You skier - available a dry room on a ground floor - keys in apartment.

    Very clean, comfortable, spacious and modern room. The breakfasts were very good too with a great selection. Friendly and helpful staff. There is underground parking too. The access to the Tauern Spa is an added bonus, especially after a day's skiing.
