We had such a great stay here! The location is beautiful - surrounded by vineyards and mountains - and the place itself is beautifully maintained, perfect for relaxing or heading out on trips. Rudolf is an amazing host, super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended for an authentic and memorable experience.

So much to love about this property! It’s beautiful, historic with many original features, wonderful staff - we booked 5 minutes prior to arriving and they couldn’t do more to make us feel comfortable, beautifully run, amazingly comfortable beds (cycled from passau to Vienna averaging 70km per day and this was my best nights sleep by far!), wonderful breakfast. I really hope we are lucky enough to stay here again one day and have recommended it to family and friends already despite only having stayed there last night. Even the village and neighbouring villages are stunning and rich with history and wine

Laura & Hans are excellent hosts - warm, welcoming & made me feel right at home instantly with hot coffee & juice in their garden daily etc. They provided guidance to to key sites to visit in the area - all of which were visited & enjoyed. Room was very comfortable too. It was a very good experience staying in their place. Very memorable.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with family! We were delighted by the hospitality, had an excellent room and great breakfast. And our daughter got to pet the cats and rabbits, a warm chocolate was offered to her after a walk in the snow, and the owner was more than helpful in every way. We had a great time, thank you :)

    Spacious and comfortable apartment in a quiet village along the Danube. Everything needed for self-catering was provided. We appreciated the heating as the evenings were cool in October. A parking space right beside the apartment was provided. The access road is quite narrow but there is minimal traffic so not a problem. It was a great base for exploring the villages in the Wachau Valley.
