It's in a very quiet neighbourhood in Caxambu and in walking distance from.the main bus terminal. The owner lives there and she is very friendly. The wifi is very good and I could do my breakfast there.

This is a wonderful hotel built as a casino-hotel back in 1892 and functioning as a hotel to this day, maintaining many of the original features and showcasing many antique furniture and items. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room, while "old", was very clean, and we really enjoyed all the facilities and activities. The shower had amazing pressure and temperature! This is a fantastic place for couples and families to stay. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and they also offered a fantastic afternoon coffee during our stay, as a courtesy of the hotel. The location was excellent and close to everything! We'll definitely be back again!
