I loved everything about this great little house! We had the place all to ourselves, and accessing the property was done via door code that was sent to us in advance of our arrival via email. Although we never met our hosts in person, they were very nice to deal with through the whole process before and after our stay. The facilities for a "cottage" are great (spacious bathroom with good shower water pressure and temperature, spacious eat-in kitchen, propane BBQ on back deck). There were also cool little features like white noise devices in the bedrooms to help you sleep. The location is great, too, as we walked into town each morning via a pedestrian footbridge and path. I hope to come back and stay here again!

The house was really great. It is located just on the edge of a park and on the York river. Beutifull view. Very wuit location. We used the kitchen a lot - stoves, oven, dishwasher and barbique. All were extremely conviniant. It is also within walking distance from several shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Aileen and Dave’s apartment. The location is truly special – surrounded by beautiful, green nature, it offered the perfect place to relax and unwind. Aileen and Dave are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. The much-praised breakfast absolutely lived up to the expectations, and we also enjoyed a lovely chat with them over a glass (or two) of wine. It was a great opportunity to get to know the Canadian perspective on many things. Thank you for a memorable experience – we would love to come back!

The setting was beautiful overlooking the lake. Very quiet. Staff very friendly.

The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable.The staff were friendly and know the area very well.Did visit the eagles nest and the view was quite beautiful.There is also some fun driving on the side roads.

The location was absolutely stunning! The cleanliness was above and beyond!!!... And that there was free Wifi Laundry on site, and we could watch anything on TV Oh did I mention that it was absolutely stunning! We will be staying with you again! Super cosy cabin that was very well-equipped with snacks, tea and coffee provided too! We especially enjoyed that wood was provided for the firepit which made for a very enjoyable evening. Deborah was very welcoming and helpful and overall we had a great time.
