This place exceeded our expectations—it’s even better than the photos! The region is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful mountains, and the breakfast area offers a breathtaking view while you enjoy delicious local food. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and there’s plenty of parking available at the accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added a magical touch to our stay. They even prepare fresh eggs for you at breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return!

We couldn't fault this place. The beds were so comfortable, the spa absolutely perfect and the dinner and breakfast two of the best meals we'd had in a long time. On top of that the staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. It was raining heavily when we arrived so we were given complimentary teas before being taken to our room (as it was an outdoor route and that way we could wait until the rain had stopped). Robert and Ute on Reception and Peter in the Restaurant were amazing, though all the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. This place is a little slice of magical luxury and we highly recommend it as somewhere lovely to treat yourself - and it's not even that expensive by Swiss standards, considering what you get for your money. We only stayed one night but felt so well-looked after and relaxed that it felt like much longer.

    Very large room with fantastic views from all directions . Excellent breakfast with fresh bread and great selection of food for all tastes . Very helpful and kind staff , lift to all floors and peaceful for sleeping . Hotel is steeped with history and furnishings are exquisite . Kettle and tea , coffee were a nice touch. Ideal location for exploring the kiental and kandersteg natural areas . Parking available near to hotel.
