Very friendly and helpful host. Il Vigneto is in a quiet and tranquil location with a very pretty outlook. The house was spotless and the breakfast and overall service were excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

This is my second stay at this apartment, still as good as the first time, comfy, warm, clean, bright, all amenities you need are there, still got much love for the shower with Niagara Falls power, all good.

The area is quiet and quaint. Location is near to supermarket and gas station. And accessible to major highway. There are also a train station nearby. Garage is suitable for small car. If you drive MPV, it is better to park outside. The house itself is spacious and has beautiful view. You can dine indoor and outdoor. Come with basic amenities and complete kitchen to cook for 6 pax. Comfy beds and pillows. Ah, and the view is spectacular!

The flat is well located in a quiet area of Melano and only a few minutes drive to the Monte Generoso train station and Swiss Miniature in Melide. The town also has at least 2 grocery stores (Migros and Denner), which is very practical. The host is very kind and helpful and lives in the next building so he is very close in case of issues or emergencies of all kinds. Everything was well explained to us and we were able to park our car and e-bikes inside a garage, which we greatly appreciated.

We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

    A room in a very lovely house. Right next to mountain and facing to the lake. You can enjoy both lake and mountain views from your balcony. Has a parking lot in front of the house. Tenant was very friendly. Breakfast was great. She asked us what we prefer for breakfast and that was very nice of her. It is a very quite place so you get a good sleep.
