We loved everything! Evi is a lovely host and answered all our questions :) The Gädeli made us feel right at home and kept us warm during our winter stay. This place provides wonderful amenities including a well equipped kitchen, heated floors (particularly in the bathroom), large windows to take in the views of the mountains and is conveniently located within walking distance to trails, the lake, local grocer and train station. We highly recommend staying at the Gädeli!

Great, authentic hotel with a long history. Right on the walls you can find different historical facts. Also good breakfast and clean spa. The location is just perfect! Train station and the lake are just a few minutes walk away, Zurich airport and all attractions an hour away by car. Highly recommend it! 👌🏼🤩

    Nostalgic and absolute relaxation. Everywhere was clean and there was no trace of dirt in any corner. The parking lot led to the hotel. The restaurant staff were polite and respectful. The hotel has an old and mysterious story that makes you feel as if you have stepped into an old movie.

    The room was spacious,very clean and comfortable. Excellent location near Lucerne and other attractions like mountain Pilatus. The staff was very friendly. Self check in was super easy. The restaurant was also nice.you can enjoy your dinner in the terasse if the weather is good. We really appreciated the free parking slot.

    Location was nice and close to the lake. Breakfast was really good. Staff was really nice. Clean and big room. Bathroom was a bit "old fashioned" but clean and usable. Free parking was really convenient.
