We stayed in a lovely brand new cabin close to the Ruta 7. We got a night ferry, so we only arrived at 2345, but we were warmly by Klaus. The cabana is very comfortable and warm and we had an excellent nights sleep. We had a super breakfast in the morning and were on our way down the Carretera Austral. A special place to stay

A great tiny house that gave my wife and I ideas for a house of our own. The owners were extremely hospitable, going out of their way to help out. Fully recommended to any and all travelers through Chaitén!

    Beautifully decorated warm cabin in the woods. Friendly and helpful owners/staff. Really good breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Not too far from Chaiten and on the road to the ferry. Very good value for the price.

    We enjoyed the location by the lake, kayaking and fishing. We also enjoyed using the wood burner in our cabaña. Sebastien was managing the lodge and made every effort to ensure our stay went well. I believe with a bigger budget for the Chef and some basic maintenance the whole experience would be much improved. For example: guttering on our cabaña was blocked, causing rainwater overflow onto the decking; some lights needed bulb replacements and a lampshade; the parking spot is muddy and needs more hard standing. The BBQ area is rotting.

    Convenient to the ferry. Ignacio, the host was very accommodating even though our ferry was late and we didn't get in until 2 am. The Cabanas are comfortable, with a small kitchen and sitting area. The fireplace was a nice touch on a cold wet night. It is a bit of a hike from the parking lot to the Cabanas, along a board walk and up some stairs. The benefit is that the Cabanas are secluded.
