This hotel is Shanghai's best kept secret. If you need to stay north of the city, stay here. It feels like a miniature Disneyland. Pictures of the grand staircase are accurate and do not disappoint. Staff checking in told me that the rate for my room had changed -- it had actually become *cheaper* relative to what I booked. They spent a half hour trying to get me the cheaper room rate -- outstanding. The bedroom was luxurious, like staying in a palace. Largest bed I've ever seen -- 1.5x wider than it was long. Short walk from Baoyang Rd metro station. Maybe a half hour to get back to the city on the metro, so not too long though it feels long the first time! Mall next door has food and other amenities. Breakfast was delicious. This was the best hotel I stayed in for the price during my last trip to China.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The experience was truly delightful from start to finish. The breakfast was a standout, especially the excellent Chinese options which were fresh and delicious. The room was spacious, immaculately cleaned, and offered a beautiful view which made it even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and excellent service!

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It was really quiet as well. The bathroom was modern (Japanese toilet). Breakfast was outstanding! And the service both at the restaurant and the reception were really good. Great staff! Finally, location, location, location. A short walk away from Nanjing Road and the metro station at the People's Park. All the buzz and none of the noise. Fantastic stay

The apartment is very clean and bright, the bed is comfortable, the towels are clean, all is new, situated just 1min from the subway, room cleaning is also provided. There is a supermarket and a mall with many food courts just near the exit of the block of flats. We are very grateful to Lisa for her advise, help and support during our staying. It is close to Shanghai Railway station and so it’s very convenient. It’s also clean, the staff speak English, which is great. Qin, Chi and Tang were all extremely helpful and kind.
