This place is paradise. Perfect location for a stay before entering the Tayrona National Park from the Calabazo entrance (5 min walk). Grounds are luscious, staff are very friendly, public areas and pools are beautiful, rooms are spacious and clean. Honestly would have happily extended my stay if we had time! Thank you so much!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 4 pozos, without exaggeration it was our best stay in Colombia (and probably beyond). The room is gorgeous and very big, full of clever well built details from a beautiful wooden fan, nice airflow, polarized windows (the sun is very strong!), lovely chairs, and a massive and super comfy bed. It had the amenities one would expect, bug net, different lighting options, a kitchen, down the stairs, with refrigerator and all tools you could possibly need, all brand new. The outdoor spaces were even more breath-taking, expectacular views of the jungle - we saw tucans and hummingbirds - there is a tree in front of the window and one can just sit outside and enjoy these woderful birds. And at night we had a moonless sky with tons of stars, the sound of the river and the jungle. The hammock, natural water pools and deck netting were all perfect. We were in total amazement for the whole stay. Customer service I must say, we got a 5-star hotel service, customized and private. Thomas, the owner, was just great. He was available for us when we needed him, with no pressure or anything. Simply all to our time needs, he drove us where we had to go, told us about life in the jungle and a bit of what the community there looks like. He's your guy! Ana Maria took care of us for breakfast and dinner, she helped us order food that was delivered right at the room. Breakfast was really delicious, with eggs cooked to our taste and fresh fruit coming straight from the farm! On our last day, after check out, they let us stay at the property enjoying the pool, and offered us delicious coconuts and towels to shower!

This is an amazing and stylish new property, well located in close proximity to Parque Tayrona and the beach at Mendihuaca. It is spacious enough for a large family and has a great kiosk and bbq area. The grounds are lush and well kept as the rest of the property. We felt so welcome by the owners on arrival and the property keepers Luz and Yair looked after us very well throughout our stay and took us on a day trip to the nearby river and made the most delicious sancocho on site. Would definitively recommend a stay here in this family and dog friendly property.

We booked only 1 night at MadreSierra to bridge the gap between our Tayrona trip and our way back to Cartagena. What a mistake - we should have stayed a week!! This is the most hidden away paradise you can imagine. Everything from the service by lovely Fernando with complimentary welcome cocktails to bringing our bags up and down to the room and turning up our jacuzzi. This was an utter surprise and delight for our tired hiking bodies. They’ve accommodated our room changes even though they didn’t have to, made us complimentary brownies when we mentioned we craved chocolate and simply have been fantastic in every regard. This place also - just wow! You have WiFi to work, amazing nature, great food, natural pools in the river and a regular pool about to be finished.

This is honestly one of the most beautiful hostels I've stayed in anywhere in the world. The location is stunning, on both sides of a small river, with a hanging bridge in between, and lots and lots of greenery. Exactly the tranquility that was needed after a 7 hour bus trip. The room was spacious and felt very private. I'm really sad I was moving and could stay for only one night. The hostel is next door to the Calabazo entrance of Tayrona and leads to some absolutely beautiful hiking trails.

Perfectly located right at the Calabazo entrance for the Tayrona parc. The ticket office is not even 50m away, allowing a very early entry in the parc! Very clean room, good breakfast in a lovely patio. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to wait for us arriving at 11pm.
