Our visit to this lodge was unforgettable!The rooms and all the property have a very special charm:) Everything was clean and very much thought about. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was amazing and plenty, they cooked eggs from their own chickens! Owners' hospitality was exceptional, it was pleasure to meet such a wonderful couple! We hike the trails and visited hot springs pool nearby. Highly recommend this place for families and couples, you will not regret:)

Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

Owner was very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious and chef Isabel was delightful! Visited nearby "Aqua Celeste." It was lovely. The pool is a nice size & safe depth for children. In my opinion, this property is a little too big & kind of expensive for just 1 person. It would be great value for a big family or couples vacationing together.

Such a wonderful setting. The jungle! The toucans! The beauty! Perfectly clean gorgeous chalets. We loved it! And amazing perk toys for the little one to borrow.

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay with Lusbeth, Alfredo, and family in the rustic cabins surrounded by their beautiful gardens. A generous, delicious, homemade breakfast was included. There was even home made passionfruit jam and fresh juice from their own fruits. There were many colourful birds, including toucans. They gave us a free night tour of their garden to see the frogs and other critters. They helped us organize activities and were genuinely kind. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with enough beds for 5 people. The kitchenette was a welcome addition so we could cook our own meals. I recommend supporting this local family by staying with them when you visit the Bijagua area and Volcanoes Tenorio and Miravalles. Super sweet couple that invites you in the guest area of their own house. It is a tranquil place with 2 people taking super good care, making you comfortable and helping you with anything you like to ask but with a relaxt, leaving you to do your thing vibe. The breakfast that is included is the best! Was sad to leave, it is such a nice rural region of Costa Rica, with Rio Celeste entrance within 20 mins drive. Recommended! Night tour was nice and interesting as well!

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Johnny (I think he is the owner or manager), could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us with a coffee and snacks after a long journey from Nicaragua. He arranged a room with 2 single beds into a double room with air conditioning even though the hotel was busy. He also helped us with transport and recommendations for activities, as well as showing and telling us about all the wildlife that surrounds the hotel. He is so kind. The hotel is very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious, and you eat it whilst sat outside listening to the birds and nature. Would absolutely stay here again!

Breakfast was delicious with yogurt from the families dairy and a full gallo pinto array. The staff learned our names when we arrived and used them throughout our stay. Also they gave us a complimentary watermelon drink upon arrival that was delicious! The hot springs were wonderful and there were 6 or 7 pools of varying temperatures to enjoy. The views of Volcan Miravailles from the pools are stunning. Clean, quiet, safe, great value for the money, very glad we stayed here!
