We would definitively recommend this place. They exceeded our expectaions. The room was beautiful, large with a minimalist interior, well furnished and very very clean. Also, Caroline the girl on the reception was amazing, very nice and highly proactive, she supported us with all our requests. This property was one of the best we have stayed in! The owners were super helpful and friendly, the place itself was very cosy, clean, quiet and serene. They had a very lovely dog called Luna who loved a tummy rub! The place is small and there are 3 cabins in total. This made it social in a nice way and we chatted to the other guests and it was just a really nice and calm place to be. The nature surrounding the property was lovely too! There was also a well equipped kitchen (we cooked in twice) and unlimited drinking water which was a nice touch. The rooms were very clean, cosy and they had really good air-con (which was needed as it was very hot when we stayed!)

The place is amazing! We felt very relaxed in the jungle house. You can cook easy meals in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy them at the veranda. We had the pool mostly to ourselves. Nadia was very helpful and responsive.

We stayed at La Prometida in Puerto Viejo for three wonderful nights last week. We were absolutely impressed by both the accommodation and the hospitality of Selva. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: from the fresh coffee delivered to our door every morning (complete with adorable heart-shaped chocolates on Valentine's Day - a lovely touch!), to the stunning Ibiza-style interior of the villas themselves. This stay will definitely remain one of the highlights of our 15-day holiday. In short, a true paradise tucked away in a quiet side street of the breathtaking Playa Negra. An absolute must!
