The view from our balcony was amazing! You have the cloud forest in the grasp of your hand! We received a little map on our arrival and recommendations about the different activities in Monteverde. We really appreciated that. The town Santa Elena is very graphic with friendly people and multiple restaurants! Highly recommend this place.

Sergio was an amazing host, always helpful and caring! Prepared great homestyle breakfast for us both days and kept us refreshed with coffee / tea / hot chocolate throughout our stay! The room was very comfy and clean and the little terrace in front of our room made a great place to chill out after our trips with the view of the cloud forests.

Lily was an amazing host and makes you feel comfortable immediately. The place is really comfortable and makes you feel at home away from home. In the morning we had breakfast together and it felt like we were staying with family. Highly recommend staying here!

This was my favorite part of my trip in Costa Rica. It is magical here and I hope I have that chance to visit again. My only regret is not staying longer. I had the breakfast one morning, which was lovely. The facilities are minimal. This is easily managed if planned for. There is no fridge in the little pod I stayed in, but there is a microwave. The microwave was enough for me to have a couple small meals. People have mentioned more counter space would be nice. I found it good enough. I had my things organized under the bed. Having the travel packing pods was useful. It is remote, and I suggest bringing in your own drinking water. I didn't get sick or anything, but as a precaution, that is my advice. There are lovely outdoor seating areas. I traveled with a small collapsible chair. It was great for this location, as well as when I visited beaches in other parts of the country. There are great knock off versions of the helinox chairs. If you bring one for your trip you won't regret it. This place is very special, and I offer these little tips so that you can enjoy this accommodation as much as I have. I cannot express enough how beautiful and magical the location is with the surrounding jungle covered mountains. For context. I am a solo female traveler. I felt very safe in this remote location. I had a suv rental from Adobe (very excellent car rental). I didn't need the 4wd, but had it been raining, then I likely would have used it a bit. Definitely need the high clearance on the vehicle. There was only 1 spot that required the clearance when i visited. I used the downhill assist when driving into the valley. That was very useful, and easier on the brakes. Driving back from Santa Elena in the dark was fine for me. Thank you to the hosts for having such beautiful and unique accommodations.

The house and property are gorgeous!! We were pleasantly surprised to the layout of the house, the wood stove and the beautiful windows that encapsulate the entire dwelling. We loved the kitchen and made very good use out of it. It felt like a home away from home. We were also isolated and left alone, which was nice. The house is very quiet and private.

The care and kindness of everyone, both owners and staff. Amazing breakfast, super cosy bed, big cabin with everything tou need. Outdoor patio is the perfect spot for breakfast next to the forest. Owner would come every afternoon with a wee tea. Just perfect. If you're hesitating, don't :)

Lovely bright spacious studio in a quiet location but walking/short drive to all the main attractions and restaurants. Lovely comfy bed and tasteful furnishings. Marcela was warm and welcoming providing fruit and coffee and helping us with recommendations about where to eat and recommending and reserving tours in the reserves . There are capuchin monkeys, coatis, mott mott birds who come and visit . Highly recommended. We really enjoyed eating at Tomas and Thiago and the hummingbird galllery

This was by far the best location on our trip! A perfect, spacious house with a beautiful garden in a totally quiet neighbourhood all to ourselves - it could not get any better! It comes with a full kitchen, a modern bathroom and plenty of details that are useful. There are 6 houses each wirh a big private garden and plenty of nature around them. We spotted lots of birdsand smaller animals and even a wildcat. Our host Guillermo was fantastic! He is such a kind soul and helped us with everything, always a big smile on his face. Thank you, Guillermo, we miss you! Hope to come back one day.
