This was a one night stopover on our road trip from San Jose to the Pacific Coast. The Cabinas Brisas is a family run Soda House with a few rooms with basic facilities that would suit seasoned travellers. The owners are extremely friendly and provided us with an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were cooked to order and very satisfying. The room was comfortable and had air conditioning and was good for our one night stay.

Very sweet, small hotel where we stayed briefly en route between San Jose and Guanacaste, but would be fine for a longer stay. Very nice hotel grounds leading down to private beach. Plenty of loungers, tables and chairs etc. Varied food menu and what we had was good quality. Nice pool area, friendly and efficient staff. We were very happy there and happy to recommend it.

Fantastic vibe! Huge open sided bar/restaurant area. The rooms are pirate themed! Travis was so helpful. We went on a night kayaking tour, saw loads of wildlife including some small crocs! You can also tour the islands with Travis on his boat. Great welcome and great value. A hidden gem.
