I had a medical emergency in a remote place in CR after I had checked out. I was in urgent need of a medication and that was available in Uvita. The only person I knew was Gilberto and he arranged through his personal connection someone who delivered me a life saving medicine driving four hours on a bike in middle of a rainforest at midnight as the medication had to be administered same day!

Casa Uvita Bay is a real gem and phenomenal value for the money. The property has been recently renovated, so it is very fresh, clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen area well equipped. The mattresses are new and really comfortable. THere's a nice small pool to hang and relax. The property is walkable to the gorgeous beach and many restaurants and shops. A 10 out of 10, without a doubt.

Lovely sized comfortable room and beds, with a little patio area out the back to relax on and a walk in wardrobe in the room which was really helpful to hang wet towels in and store our bags. Quiet and felt very safe. Lovely pool and a large kitchen / communal sitting area which was really comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare a good breakfast and coffee. We had a great stay.

Beautiful modern home with lots of space. Amazing view overlooking the ocean. Tucans would visit daily. Kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and utensils. The owner is extremely helpful if you need anything at all.

This place has everything you need and is very comfortable. We travelled with our two kids and they really enjoyed the pool at the end of the day. You are 10 minutes walk from the beach which is a plus. We would highly recommend this place.
