Everything you need in a hotel room in a very compact package. It's amazing how a tiny room can be so well-functioning, it's a true winner from the point of view of Bauhaus philosophy. The shelf rack could be a tad bigger (one more shelf would be great), but it was only because I had lots of stuff. There are small fridges in the hallway if you need to keep some food, but since the weather during my stay was of ideal fridge temperature (+1 — +3 Celsius), I was keeping my yoghurts and ham outside the window. If you make sure to buy something somewhere for your breakfasts, then, with the evening pizzeria right downstairs from your room, you'll be all set for food. The location is, of course, not particularly close to Olomouc, but if you know how you will solve this, this is a great place to stay. Not all staff speak English, if this is important for you -- the English-speaking guy has days off. I had no problem because there were other languages to speak )

Communication was 5 star, both before and during our stay. Both the hotel and the cafe where breakfast was served had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast options were delicious and aesthetically presented. The coffee was great. The room was sparkling clean and very well equipped. We had secure private parking at a more than reasonable price. Everything worth exploring is within walking distance.

ideally located near the old city. extremely attractive restored inner spaces (the facade has also been beautifully redone). our room was no frills modern in design (which is of course an aesthetic choice in its own right).extremely comfortable beds. immaculately clean. chic breakfast room in the basement with appealing choices. extraordinarily helpful staff at the reception desk, especially the two blonde girls (late Sunday afternoon and all day Monday). a great place for two tired travelers to rest up after some rugged days of driving.
