All in easy reach on foot. The hotel was spotless. We had a spacious room with a balcony which gave us a spectacular view of the mountain and the castle. That makes this a peaceful location. The room was excellent - we had a separate bedroom from a living area with a terric view of the main event right above us. Within walking distance of many local restaurants, breakfast at the hotel was fantastic! We walked up to Neuschwanstein Castle and this took about 30 minutes, and free parking was a bonus as well. It is very peaceful and quiet, especially in the evenings and mornings when there are not many tourists around. Breakfast with the Neuschwastein Castle view, free parking lot for hotel guest, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can get to the castle early in the morning to avoid the crowds which arrives around 9.00 am.
