We were made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly owners who clearly care deeply about the comfort of their guests. The breakfast was exceptional and plentiful; a great example of what the Danes do best. Not only is the location beautiful with stunning views over the water – as an added bonus, we enjoyed the considerable collection of paintings by renowned Danish artist (and father of the current owner) Arne Haugen Sørensen – along with key Danish design pieces in the dining room.

Newly renovated apartments with a nice design and all the required facilities. Located in the city's pedestrian street, surroundwd by cafés, shops, bars and restaurants. Frederiksværk is a cosy little town with bridges, water, and beautiful nature. The check in and out procedure is done automatically and is very straightforward. Free parking available at the site. We had a very large room with a separate hallway with large wardrobe. There were comfortable armchairs and table plus fridge in the room. There was a large balcony with dining furniture and furniture to relax in. There was a nice view of the harbour. There was a good breakfast buffet which was extra cost but very modest.

The hotel is a jewel with its beautiful salons, garden and terrace. Every morning, a nice lady and the owner of the hotel would welcome us and suggest to us where to go. The location is perfect to get to different beaches and towns nearby. There is also an excellent danish restaurant in the hotel. The room was bigger than other hotels, with two tables and a couch.
