Lovely little taverna, spacious room and bathroom both nice and clean. Price (in March at least) was very cheap with food and drink available in the bar downstairs. Beautiful village and surrounding area, I had intended just to stop over for one night in my way back up from Spain into France but stayed an extra night to do a little exploring in the surrounding mountain road and beautiful coast line (I was on a motorcycle tour). Hadn't expected such amazing scenery and wonderful roads. I highly recommend staying here, but be aware that the staff (the ones that I met on my stay anyway) spoke no English at all. This shouldn't be a problem though, the 4G mobile signal is very strong so you can muddle through with Google Translate if you don't speak any Spanish.

From the warm welcome to the beautiful location, spacious apartment and helpful organising, this was a fantastic stay. We landed in Goizueta at the peak of fiestas, and the whole village was heaving with revellers - loud, friendly and very much local. We were helped to find the apartment (just off the main square) by random passers-by, and what a lovely place - great location, by the main square and easily accessible for the few shops and restaurants in this small town. Maricarmen also organised dinner in the local restaurant, which was really, really helpful as everywhere was heaving due to the fiesta. We were worried about the heat - elsewhere in Spain, it was over 38 degrees - so Maricarmen organised some fans as a special request, but it was lovely and cool in the mountains surrounding Goizueta, so they just helped to keep out the noise from the streets outside. We slept well on the comfy beds, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there are pretty walks everywhere you look outside. San Sebastian is about a half hour drive away, but you are really in an idyllic part of Spain.
