amazing ,amazing very old building enough space in the sleeprooms and overall a nice experience if u like history and old buildings you will feel very well and adventurous.the imagination what the building has gone thru is really fascinating . Very nice host family and aloud to bring your dog.

The location is perfect, remote yet very close to Besalú and not far from Banyoles. Magnificent views of the mountains giving the place a unique calmness. A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Photos: The Bridge and Town at Besalu, The lake at Banyoles with early snow on the mountains, the 'common room' at La Fustana, and the morning view from there.

The most amazing views! We stayed in the bungalows. Staff very helpful even though minimal english. The beds were very comparable, cabins were clean. Air con worked well, unfortunately couldn’t leave the door open to get the breeze as lots of insects (a screen door would minimise the need for the AC). It was brilliant thank you
