I would like to thank Stefan and Amanda for being great hosts, the cottage was immaculate, all cooking, utensils, and equipment, along with bed linen and towels were spotless, tea and coffee was provided along with a couple of beers. The cottage is ideal for those who want a quite and relaxing break with it's own private garden and access to spacious parking. The location is great for exploring the surrounding areas such as Ceauce, Saint Fraimbault, Domfront, Mayenne and much more, I would definitely book again but I think when the word gets out about this charming cottage it will be difficult to get booked in, I had a great stay, highly recommended well done Stefan & Amanda😀 Peter

Location is great, close to old town and restaurants. Free parking in street close to the b&b less than 5mins walk. The lady host is nice. Room is big and clean (no TV in room, did not bother us), however wifi is weak. Breakfast is good.

I lived there for several days and worked remotely. This is rather a private house with a part of it turned into a hotel, so it has all the vibe of a quiet house in a tiny French village. Very cozy living room with kitchenette, sofa, TV. Plenty of books! Strong and fast Wi-Fi. Generous usage of heaters allowed -- important, as it was autumn :D Breakfast was simple, but enough. The owner is a native English speaker (or so it seems). Wonderful cats and dogs live there, all very friendly and relaxed, which to me is always a strong signal that their owners are good people :) The village is a hidden pearl. Located inside of a natural reserve, it has a lot of great forest trails for walking and hiking. For the morning there is a fantastic bakery, and for there evening there is a Michelin restaurant -- both just around the corner from this place.

Lovely Gite in Passais which is a village with great amenities. Hosts very friendly and lots of advice on where to eat, what to see etc Gite very comfortable and well equipped. Parking directly outside and garden area with seating plus table and chairs in front of property to sit in the sun and enjoy the rural view. We cooked dinner and every pan and utensil you could need available. Log burner and a very comfortable bed. Will stay again for sure and highly recommend.

This property was the perfect venue for our large family to take a break. An oasis in a rustic rural location. Lots of room to accommodate a big family like ours with grandkids included. Everyone loved it. The pool, sauna and hot tub facilities were great. After a day exploring the local area we could chill out in the spa and enjoy drinks on the terrace. Amazing countryside location. The lake was teaming with fish. Watch out for the pike. Our bird app, merlin, registered 26 species of bird life. Some quite rare. We were lucky that the trees were bearing fruits. Oh and the local cider museum was 5 mins cycle ride away, and was fascinating. The cider was great too. The nearby villages were beautiful. Local bakers in Cauce produce the best ever croissants. The town of Lassey les chateaux had everything from supermarket to the the chateaux itself. Within approx 90 mins you have the stunning towns of Caen or St Malo. Steeped in history. Fabulous restaurants. Seafood heaven. We also made a visit to mont St Michel. Whilst we hit the summer peak regards numbers of tourists, it was stunning. Well worth the trip.
