This is a very unusual location at first sight, the road is busy and relatively unassuming in looks, however we stayed in a top of this large house apartment with its' own terrace with views above of the old chateau and opposite direction to the river Seine, we caught this on a spring day sunset and it was lovely. The attention to design detail and the quality of fixtures and fittings is clearly evident and much appreciated. Our lady host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and served in a charming room in the main house, all in all a little gem and if in the area will certainly look forward to returning . The only caveat (unless we somehow missed it) was there was no air conditioning, which was a great surprise considering the overall quality of this apartment and as a loft room would be very warm in the summer months!

We loved the whole experience. It was a very hot day and our amiable hosts met us with cold bottles of water and helped with parking and luggage. The ancient house has been upgraded with excepttional decor and all the modern amenities without compromising its history. The views of Chateau Gaillard from the back yard and patio were wonderful and it was lovely to sit outside and gather our thoughts after a long day. The little town is right on a a bend of the Seine and a walk along the river on our way to dinner was really nice. Our stay was altogether perfect, made more so by our hosts who were funny and accommodating and made sure we didn't want for a thing. They both spoke excellent English, which was very helpful even though we were trying our best in fractured French. The breakfasts the next morning were prepared to order and every consideration given to preferences and presentation. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others.

We received a warm welcome, freshly baked cake, and cider and water in the fridge. A lovely start to our stay! The gite is compact, but has everything you need. It was very clean, it was easy to park, and the wifi seemed extremely fast. The local town, Les Andelys, is unpretentious and very pretty - one of the most picturesque parts of Northern France.

    The location of the hotel is excellent against the Seine river with wonderful views from our terrace, close parking and facilities we didn't expect. Spotting European Beavers in the river in front of us was an unexpected joy. Proximity to Giverney was very good, as was the ability to drop into Vernon for all of our catering needs.

    The resort is located on the bank of the Seine river. The apartments are quite big and well equipped. There is a small swimming pool and a playground for younger kids. The parking space is quite vast. The service is good and speaks both English and French. You can order good French breakfast on spot.
