The landlord was extremely helpful both before and throughout our short stay. Everyone was friendly and we felt very well looked after. The apartment was super clean. The accommodation was the ideal size for the three of us with a comfortable living room and adequate kitchen. In any case, the Brown Cow pub serves great food all day!

This property was fantastic for a large family break, The Host Leanne was fantastic, she was at the property when we arrived and made us feel extremely welcome. The house its self was vast, had 2 cottages and a large outside barn conversion where the hot tub was situated. Our whole family had the best time and would high recommend this.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent, we were complimentary upgraded upon arrival to the Princess Suite and it is the most beautiful room I have seen or stayed in in the UK I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel and facilities. We look forward to coming back when we are next in the UK

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Longsdale House Luxury Apartments in Ulverston. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The living space was spacious yet cozy, making it ideal for both relaxing and spending quality family time. Lynda our host was really welcoming and she has the most exceptional property to stay in, we spent a night there in November but it would've been lovely to stay in the summer months as there are lovely views of the beach/sea etc from her panoramic windows. We also had a lovely relaxing breakfast in the morning before we started our drive home.

    The room was stunning, absolutely immaculate. The bathroom was amazing, it seems no expense was spared on the room. Beautiful buildings, and the car park had ample parking too. It's not very often we go a little over the top with our praise, but the owners of Chequers deserve all the praise and credit for quality of the property and rooms.

    Great communication from the hotel and very clear explanations about the self check in process. Very spacious family room, very quiet, spotless clean, modern bathroom with new appliances, large beds, self check in and check out very convenient as we arrived very late. Free parking on site. Fridge stocked with milk, yoghurt and juice, and everything you need to make tea or coffee.

    Contactless self entry is easy and convenient, free parking, room is modern and clean, power shower, communal area has seatings and coffee machine, breakfast of cereal, yogurt and orange juice is provided, so thoughtful they even created a little garden for travellers but weather means we didn’t use it. Room was tidied while we were out. Can order delivery food, which we did, from their sister pub The Brown Cow. The attention to details is superb ie shower products, cutlery, mini fridge, and the bedside lamps with USB connectors!
