The location it's great,very quiet, we saw hares, a fox and lots of birds, even a Robin The host was very very friendly, explained everything in detail, he even was waiting for us with a boiled kettle, fresh flowers around the lodge.The lodge it's equipped with everything you need!!Spotless clean!!

The cottage was so lovely and warm and very modern. It had everything u needed . The host was very attentive and left us milk and cookies for us when we. Arrived. Can't fault him or the cottage. Brilliant wee country pub across the road,food was to dye for was the best pub food I've had been told it's a new chef . Would love to go back to the cottage and the friendly staff at the pub . A very happy weekend we had . It was a early Xmas present for my girlfriend we enjoyed it very much .

    Fabulous location on the river in the centre of Durham, but despite it's great location it wasn't noisy (which was a concern when we first went into the apartment). James, our host was excellent, very informative with regard to the flat and the local attractions. Onsite parking was a huge bonus. Durham is a great place to spend a few days.Highly recommend Durham and this apartment.
